The Heightened Demand for Brass Knuckles
Ā
Between 2005 and 2011 over 40,000 weapons were seized by the Canadian Border Services Agency. Of those 40 thousand weapons 10447 Brass Knuckles were seized.Ā¹ Over a quarter of all illegal weapons being smuggled into Canada were brass knuckles. Isnāt that crazy? Of all the weapons in the world, Canadians really wanted to have some brass knuckles smuggled in. It may be because brass knuckles are small and easily concealable, or because they are extremely deadly, or just because knuckle dusters are awesome! But the demand is there and back then, there was no legal Canadian alternative to fill our desire to own a pair of brass knuckles. Luckily for all Canadians their favourite illicit weapon now has an equally good, scratch that, a better legal alternative, Monkey Knuckles. Recent statistics have not yet been released but weāre willing to bet all our bananas that the number of illegal brass knuckles seized has significantly dropped since Monkey Knuckles was launched. The reason being that a lot of these seizures were from online orders from popular websites like the Brass Knuckles Company and others which allow you to order illegal metal knuckles to Canada. With Canadians having a legal and better alternative for plastic knuckles and carbon fibre knuckles that are not only legal in Canada but made in Canada, itās a no-brainier. Supporting a Canadian business, following the law and not putting yourself at risk to catch a possession of a prohibited weapon charge and free shipping! Itās a win-win situation.
Especially when you can be charged just for ordering metal brass knuckles from the U.S.A. Itās a particularly nasty charge labeled āimporting a prohibited or restricted weaponā. This young man unfortunately learned it the hard way.
